The Société Française pour l'Etude des Lipides (SFEL) is pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for its 2022 thesis prize. This prize rewards research work carried out in France for a university thesis in a field related to oilseeds, fats and/or lipids: oilseed production, analysis, biochemical or physico-chemical characterization of lipids, fat processing, non-food uses, lipid nutrition, lipids and health…

The SFEL Thesis Prize is endowed with 1000 Euros and will be awarded on the occasion of the Congress of the Groupe d'Etude et de Recherche en Lipidomique (GERLI) to be held in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat from November 6 to 9, 2022 (for info click here ), during which the winner will present his or her work. Registration and travel expenses will be covered by SFEL. It is open to candidates meeting the following conditions:

• Have defended their thesis at the time of application, and no more than 2 years previously,
• Be a member (80€) or be attached to a French research team in which at least one of the collaborators is a member of the SFEL.

The application must be sent to us by e-mail before July 30, 2022, and include the following elements, not exceeding 4 pages:

• a letter of application
• a CV showing titles, publications and work carried out
• a one-page presentation of your work, highlighting the main results obtained and the link with the lipids sector of interest.
