Groupe Lipides Nutrition brings together researchers and doctors with a common interest in the nutritional effects of lipids, one of the major issues of the moment, rich in passionate, even impassioned, debate.
The group, led by a board of directors (a scientific council), has set itself two objectives:
The first is to contribute to research by subsidizing, to the extent of its financial possibilities, a few projects - between three and five per year - submitted by teams or young researchers in response to a public call for tenders.
Subject to rigorous evaluation by the Board, these projects - in which Nutrition and Lipids are of course key words - generally receive additional funding for two years, with an interim evaluation.
