After 3 previous successfull editions, we are proud to inform you that the 4rd International Conference on lipid droplets and oleosomes will take place in Montpellier in June 2-4, 2026. The event will take place in Campus La Gaillarde located in the School of Agronomy Campus, close to the City Center, in the heart of the MedVallée and very nearby Montpellier University of Science and organized in tight connections with CIRAD and University.

This conference will bring together leading researchers, encouraging interest in marine lipid research, from environmental processes and primary production to industrial implementation pathways to consumers, across all marine organisms including animals, plants, algae and microorganisms. During the meeting, challenges, advances, new tools and techniques involving the fields of marine ecology and trophic chains, food production and human consumption, animal feed and nutrition, sustainable production and application of bio-based processes will be discussed, along with the major difficulties associated with accurately analyzing the complex diversity of marine lipids and lipidomes.

L’article 27th International Symposium on Plant Lipids- ISPL Málaga 2026, July 5 – 10 est apparu en premier sur SFEL - Société française pour l'étude des lipides.

The ICBL (International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids) and GERLI (Group of Studies and Research on Lipids, France) are joining forces to organize a conference on lipid science entitled ‘Lipids In All States’, September 21st to 24th, 2026. The conference will be held in Bordeaux and will cover several topics ranging from chemistry to biology and medicine of lipids. It is expected to bring together more than 200 attendees from all continents. This highly anticipated event in the lipid biosciences community will bring together leading researchers to discuss the latest advancements in the biology of lipids from all organisms and models.

A large diversity of topics will be covered including Membrane Lipids, Algae & Plant Lipids, Lipid Nutrition & Health, Lipids & Brain, Biopolymers & Lipids, Biodiversity of Lipids & hot topics, Lipids for Medicine & Pharmacy, and Lipids & Technology. Last minute hot topics in lipid sciences will also be included from the submitted abstracts! Furthermore, the meeting will start in the afternoon of Monday september 21st with a workshop on Imaging techniques for lipids and membranes, followed by two Opening Lectures.
